I Have Graduated!

4 years of Preschool and I have graduated last Saturday!

Daddy, Mommy and Leonitus were all here to attend my graduation ceremony.

After the ceremony, the K1 and K2 from all three branches of Orange Tree Preschool put together a performance on the development of our country, Singapore.

My first performance was in Mandarin, where I acted as a little nonya, explaining about Peranakan lifestyle in Singapore's earlier days.

In the second performance, I was dressed up as the Merlion in the modern day Singapore.

Look how serious I was during the performance where we led the people in the concert hall to sing our national anthem - 'Majulah Singapura'.

Waiting for the finale...

Our last performance was a group dance with all the children who had performed for the concert.

I loved it when the confetti rained on us! So fun!

Just at the foyer, we had our art and craft exhibition. I made that swing! It was part of the playground model that my classmates and I put together.

And our composition was also proudly displayed along side.

These are my friends from my school. Some of us have been studying and playing together for four years!

My Daddy loves me so much, he bought me a graduate bear to celebrate my K2 graduation. I think when I graduate from University next time, he will probably buy me a car as present. Hahaha...

This is Teacher Wanqing who had taught both Leonitus and myself. She is a very nice teacher, we love her very much.

Come November, I will not be seeing most of my friends, as we need not attend school any more. I am surely going to miss them very very much!

Preschool had been a wonderful journey. Thank you to all the teachers and staff in Orange Tree Preschool, CCK branch. I will always love this school because of YOU!

Jig-Saw Puzzle

Leonitus loves his puzzles. At 28 months old, he is able to complete a 23pc puzzle all by himself.

See how serious he becomes when he is at work.

One last piece and you are done, my little brother!

ALL DONE!! GOOD JOB!!

Growing Up

Leonitus, at 20 months old, can't wait to eat on his own. He refuses to have anyone feed him anymore. My little brother is growing up fast!

And I am his good role model, feeding and eating well on my own.

Reading Is Fun

Mommy had cultivated us to like books since we are babies. Now Leonitus is happy picking up a book, even though he can't read, he enjoys looking at the pictures; doesn't matter if the book is sometimes upside down.

Using Chopsticks

I am 3, so I should be moving on from spoon and fork to chopsticks! To help me do that, Mommy bought me this pair of special chopsticks that work wonders for toddlers. It is so easy to use that I can eat on my own after one minute of trying.

And they can be stored and carried in a container. That makes it easy for eating out too. I really love those chopsticks.

Mommy, shall we eat noodles again tomorrow?

My Ears Bling!

After Mommy's unsuccessful attempt to have my ears pierced, more than a year ago, she had not try until yesterday evening. She brought me to Bedazzled at Raffles City because the shop assistant had assured Mommy that they are very experienced with ear piercings for children.

After choosing my earrings, I was a bit nervous, so Daddy stood behind me and held on to me to provide some moral support.

The shop assistant was very patient and handled me quite well.

Within seconds, I had both my ears done. Although I was rather shocked after getting one side pierced, the shop assistant was able to get to the other ear smoothly.

As expected, I cried but stopped when they showed me the mirror and told me now I look like a princess with my new earrings.

I can't wait for my piercings to heal so I can ask Mommy to get me that pair of ladybugs earrings that I saw from the shop. But for now, I am happy to show off my blings blings to the world!
