Jurong Bird Park 2013 (Part 2)

Besides birds watching, Jurong Bird Park is a great place for play too! Every children who visit Juring Bird Park must go to Birdz of Play - a bird-themed wet and dry children's playground

Actually, we forgot to bring our swim wears, but Daddy couldn't bear to see us disappointed, decided to buy us new swim wears at the Birdz of Play's retail outlet. How do you like my polka dots pinky new swim wear?

Guys are always easy. A new pair of dark swim shorts and Leonitus was off to have fun!

It was really hot and sunny, a perfect day to get wet!

After close to two hours of baking in the sun, we had some sorbet from Ben & Jerry's to cool us down.

Then we got into some swings and laughed our heads off when Daddy and Mommy took turns to push our swings and propelled us into the air!

We had such a great time at the Jurong Bird Park and we definitely want to come back for more!

Swim!

Our Leonitus is barely 3 and half years old and after ten swimming lessons, he is making good progress!

I will have to buck up, but I am still a little scared to swim.

Our First Swimming Lesson

We are going for our first swimming lesson. It is so convenient for us because we have the pool just downstairs.

Coach Howie is really nice and patient, even though we were monkeying a lot during his lesson. We are looking forward to our next lesson. 

I think I actually prefer swimming to ballet!

Our RWS Staycation

As part of my belated birthday celebration, we went to Resorts World Sentosa for a very short 2 days, 1 night staycation at Hard Rock Hotel.

I absolutely love the pool at Hard Rock Hotel, it has this man-made sandy pool which feels as though I am by the beach and the water is sparkly clear.

We had a rocking good time at Hard Rock Hotel, Singapore! YEAH!!

Weekend in KL, Malaysia

Over the weekend, Daddy brought us up to KL, Malaysia. We stayed a night at Sheraton Imperial Hotel. After checking into the hotel, we took the monorail to Imbi Station and went to Bejaya Times Square Theme Park.

Leonitus was actually too young for this 'ship' ride, but the staff was kind enough to sneak him in because Leonitus kept giving him the sad puppy eyes, looking longingly at the ride.

We love the train ride that went half-way round the theme park.

There is also a indoor playground. Daddy and Mommy took us there and they took turn to look after us so that they can go for the 360 degree roller coaster ride.

The next morning, we took the monorail to Bukit Bintang for yummy brunch and some window shopping.

Then we headed back to the hotel for a swim. We absolutely love to swim!

It was such a sunny day, and eating oranges by the pool helped to cool us down.

It was a fun but short 2 days, 1 night trip. I really love staying in the hotel!

MBS Staycation

We had an over-night stay at the Marina Bay Sands over the weekend. The moment we checked into our hotel room, we changed and headed straight for the pool at the Sky Park.

I was pretending to be a mermaid. Hehehe....

Leonitus loves to be thrown high up in the air. He is the devil-dare of our family.

We chilled out by the pool beds.

Watched the world passed us by below our feet.

I enjoyed splashing and getting everyone wet!

Mommy didn't bring her swim suit so she was the photographer for us.

Heading down to Singapore Flyers for dinner with our grandparents.

The next morning, Mommy left for work after we had our breakfast, Daddy brought us around and took more pictures of us.

We were checking out the picturesque view at the lift lobby.

Back to the hotel to pack up before we check out and head home.

We had a delightful time even though Mommy had to work on a Sunday, but it was okay, we had Daddy who took care of everything for us.
