Bang! And then blood...

Leonitus dived off Mommy's bed and smashed his face into the wall. There was so much blood oozing out from his nostrils. Mommy whisked him to the nearby 24 hour clinic and was told by the GP to bring him to KKH instead.

Daddy wasn't in Singapore, so Mommy drove Leonitus to the hospital on her own while Kaka stayed at home with me. Doctor in KKH confirmed that Leonitus didn't have a broken nose just nasal septal hematoma which is an injury to the cartilage of his nose.

Did he learn his lesson? Apparently not, coz he was seen climbing all over the hospital chairs hours after his nose stop bleeding!!



Bruises and Bumps

Is it because Leonitus is a boy, that's why he keeps getting injuries? This is probably his 100th bruise, no wait, maybe it is his 200th... I dunno, we lost count a long time ago.

Boredom

Sometimes Leonitus would cry on and on for no reason. Mommy says those were the cries for boredom and the best way to deal with it, is to just let him cry until he 'hit his quota'.

Shortly after the above video was taken, Leonitus was shown of it and amazingly he stopped crying, seeing himself crying on the film actually amused him. Guess, he is a little narcissistic after all.

Dare-devil

This time round, our dare-devil had his head grazed, diving off the sofa! What will he be up to next??

Exersaucer anyone?

The exersaucer used to keep us safe and entertained. But now we used it to our entertainment by misusing it and it had became quite an white elephant in our house.

Mommy is finding the exersaucer a new owner. Someone who is little enough not to abuse it; someone so unlike us.

Leonitus' $3000 Toy

Whenever we bring our Rainbow vacuum cleaner out of the closet, Leonitus will become very excited. He loves to push the vacuum cleaner around; it helps him to get about the house. And it has this very long wire cord coiled round the unit that never fail to keep Leonitus occupied by uncoiling it.

And when my baby brother is not playing with our very expensive vacuum cleaner, he can be found inside a laundry basket.

Hmm... I am beginning to imagine Leonitus making a really good house-husband in the future?

My Fav Phrase

I would be celebrating my second birthday in less than 2 weeks time. Mommy is hoping what she is seeing of me is already the peak of my terrible two and I would not get any worst after my birthday. Her fingers are so crossed.

My favorite phrase recently has been "don't want.. don't want..."

Mommy: "Laetitia, shower now please."
Laetitia: "Don't want.. don't want.."
Mommy: "OK, shower's over, let's get you out."
Laetitia: "Don't want.. don't want.."

Mommy: "Laetitia, do you want to drink milk?"
Laetitia: "Don't want.. don't want.."
Mommy: "Here's your milk, Laetitia."
Laetitia: "Don't want.. don't want.."

(But arms stretched out to reach for the bottle.)

Shoes!

I think I inherited Mommy's love for shoes. I like to put on shoes, even when they are not mine, or when they are way too big for me.

Here I am with Daddy's shoes! Boy, they are HUGE!

My Act Of Mischief

When I play silently on my own, I am usually up to some mischief.

Mommy and Endah Kaka found me with toothpicks all over the kitchen floor and I sat there with one toothpick hanging by my lips. I was imitating my Ah Gong, he does this same toothpick act so often, I had it learnt well.

Instead of scolding me, Mommy burst out laughing.

Dental Flossing

They say brushing alone is not enough, so I have taken on a keen interest in dental flossing!




I floss 2 to 3 times and use up to 50cm of floss each time. Oral B should thank me because of me, they sales must have been going up. Hahaha...

Rice Sack Climbing

Went supermarketing with Daddy and Mommy. Got really bored and made hell lots of noise to get down from the cart.

Daddy put me on top of some sacks of rice.

Got happy doing some rice sacks climbing! Hehehehe...

The Day I Went Around Naked

Last Sunday, I was eating out with Mommy and Daddy at Lot 1 Shopping Mall. Me being me, was too hyper to sit still without the restrain of a baby chair. So there I was, climbing up and down, running in and out, doing everything that would drive any parents nuts.

Suddenly, I felt sick, my stomach churned. As Daddy tried to carry me, I threw up like the Singapura Merlion!

Mommy quickly carried me to the nearest toilet and took my puke-soaked romper off. It was so stinky and disgusting, she had to throw it away.

So there I was naked, only with my diaper on, as we made our way home from the mall.




Along the way, people stared at us in bewilderment. They must be thinking what on earth were these parents thinking, letting their baby go naked in the public.

There was even an old auntie who chided Mommy accusingly for not putting clothes on me before bring me out. Mommy chose not to respond with words but smiled instead.

My Piggy Bank

Thriftiness is a virtue. Habit of saving is important to start from young.

So I took Mommy's purse, dug out all her coins and put them all into my own piggy bank!!

Be In Your Shoes

You know how some adults always say things like "If only you were in my shoes, you won't understand ."

So I tried to wear the slipper (but I only managed to wear one side) and I even tried walking in it.
