Our Christmas 2012

We started our celebration on the Saturday before Christmas, going to my Godma and Godpa's place for Christmas lunch. It was such a fun time for all the kids and babies!

Mommy also baked a home-made gluten-free walnut brownie for the party, it tasted absolutely delicious! Everyone loves it!

The next day, we left for a short getaway to Montigo Resorts at Nongsa, Batam. We stayed in the villa for two nights and spent our Christmas Eve there. It was a nice place but our encounter wasn't that great, but us, kids being kids, what do we know except for having fun. Mommy has more to say about the resort here.

We came back to Singapore on Christmas Day! Just in time to wish friends and family Merry Christmas!

If there is a day better than Christmas, it got to be Boxing Day! It's finally time for us to unwrap our presents. YEAH!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Our RWS Staycation

As part of my belated birthday celebration, we went to Resorts World Sentosa for a very short 2 days, 1 night staycation at Hard Rock Hotel.

I absolutely love the pool at Hard Rock Hotel, it has this man-made sandy pool which feels as though I am by the beach and the water is sparkly clear.

We had a rocking good time at Hard Rock Hotel, Singapore! YEAH!!

Celebrating My 5th Birthday

I am 5 years old today! YEAH!! I have my birthday celebration in my school and Leonitus, who is in the same school as I, got to attend my party too.

As promised, Mommy bought me my princess cake and it was all PINK! My favourite colour!

My teachers and my classmates sang me a birthday song when the candles were lighted up.

I made a wish before I blew out the candles. But I won't tell you what I wish for.

My teacher helped us take a family photo. I am so happy that my 'popo' joined us in the celebration too. I love her.

My teacher helped me cut the cake while I served them to my classmates and all the teachers in my school.

The cake was so delicious. It was fresh cream with mango filling from Bengawan Solo. But it wasn't gluten-free so I can only have a small slice.

All my classmates enjoyed the cake very much.

Leonitus love the cake too. Just look at him eat.

My cheeky little brother looks so cute here with the crown and his messy hair.

Next up was goody bags. I personally distributed the goody bags to all my classmates and it made their days.

How can we not have a group picture together with my lovely classmates, some whom have been in the same class as me from day one!

I bid my classmates goodbye and left for home early with my family. See, my classmates can't bear to see me go and beg me to stay with them. I promised them I will be back tomorrow.

Lalalala... I am 5 and I have grown so much taller, now I can switch on the lights at home on my own. Very soon, I will be able to do a lot more, independently. Being 5 is just GREAT!

Orange Tree School Concert 2012

24 Nov was an important day for me and my schoolmates because it was the day we held our annual graduation concert. This year, we had our concert at Matrix Auditorium at Biopolis.

We had an art exhibition at the foyer for the parents to enjoy before our concert starts. This farm model was made by my class.

Look, I made this woolly sheep.

This year, we had two performance. The first performance was a dance and the second one was more like a sketch. The fourth person from the left is me. Can you spot me?

At the end of the concert, there was a finale where three schools combined to thank all the teachers and the principals. The confetti was then launched into the air. It was so fun!

Here are some pictures taken by our teachers during the rehearsal.

Mommy thinks I look very much like a cross between Christmas tree and peacock with all the makeups and hair do.

Some pictures with my proud parents.

And more pictures with my classmates and friends.

I can't wait for next year, when it will be my turn to graduate from Orange Tree Preschool. But I believe I will surely miss my teachers and friends very much.
