A Beautiful Evening

Normally we will be in bed, waiting for our stories to be read by 8.15pm. However, this evening, we were having dinner at Marina Square and Mommy decided to bring us for a walk around The Esplanade.

Look at the spectacular view of Singapore behind me!

Sitting along the bridge, admiring the beautiful lights of the city with my dearest Daddy.

From afar, I could see the Asia's largest light and water show, 'Wonder Full', happening at Marina Bay Sands. The lasers lights were such an impressive sight.

Leonitus was also very excited about it!

The show lasted for around 15 mins. And then it was time to go home, it was approaching our bedtime soon. Goodnight people!

Rider's Cafe and Pony Ride

We had brunch at Rider's Cafe earlier. This place is really popular for brunch on weekends, so do make reservation before dropping by.

Despite having a reservation, we still have to wait for about 5-7 minutes before we got our table. So I just chill on the sofa while waiting.

The cafe is rather small and has no air-conditioning, but it is airy and bright. A nice place to hang out with family and friends.

We were seated quite near the windows so we were able to see horses passed by, just outside the cafe. Mommy  was mesmerized by the sight.

Daddy had the Blackstone Benedict with Tomato & Bacon, Poached Eggs & Hollandaise sauce. It's one of their signature dish for brunch, I heard.

While Mommy had Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs with Avocado on Toasted Sourdough.

We had some kid's menu which is not worth mentioning. Anyway, eating is not why we want to come here in the first place.

This is the reason why we want to come - PONY RIDES!!

It's $10 per child for the pony ride. There is a tent to shelter us from the blazing sun while we waited for our turn on the pony.

Finally it was my turn for the horsey ride.

This nice little pony is named Moonlight.

After me, was Leonitus' turn. He can't wait to get on the pony, he had his helmet on, way before the ride.

The Bukit Timah Saddle Club is really a cool place, tucked away from the city, it is a rare gem on our tiny and over-populated little island.

We will be back, perhaps we can try the other restaurant, The Marmalade Pantry, the next time round.

Jig-Saw Puzzle

Leonitus loves his puzzles. At 28 months old, he is able to complete a 23pc puzzle all by himself.

See how serious he becomes when he is at work.

One last piece and you are done, my little brother!

ALL DONE!! GOOD JOB!!

Woodlands Waterfront

Last Saturday evening, we visited Woodlands Waterfront, located off Admiralty Road West.

It is situated very near Woodlands Causeway, we could see Johor Bahru very clearly from the park.

The weather was really nice and cloudy. A perfect day for visiting a park.

There is a jetty and many people were fishing on it.

Besides the jetty, there is also a playground. I love playgrounds!

I challenged the rope bridge. I was a little afraid of the height, but Mommy kept on encouraging me.

Daddy was high up on the rope shooting Mommy shooting him. LOL.

I made it through the rope bridge, I am proud of myself.

Leonitus also wanted to climb up to join us. But he's just too young for this.

Look. Leonitus spotted a cat outside the restroom. He was saying "hello" to the kitty.

Before we left, we saw some monkeys in the carpark, looking for dinner. We were also hungry, time for us to go and find some place to have our dinner.

Bake!

Mommy is getting more and more awesome at baking. The latest to her list of successful gluten-free baking is the very tasty Pineapple Upside Cake.

Mommy might be secretly dreaming to be the next Nigella Lawson. Hehehe...
